As he approaches his fortieth birthday, ex-boxer Sal finds himself reflecting on his life. Stuck in the countryside with no fulfilling job and unfulfilled championship dreams, he also struggles to connect with his daughter Molly. When his old friend Vince presents him with the opportunity to participate in underground fights, Sal must decide whether to continue his career or prioritize his family life.
