Jania, a single mother, is struggling to support her sick daughter while facing the threat of eviction. In a desperate attempt to get money for her child's medicine, she goes to the bank to cash a check, only to be wrongly accused of trying to rob the bank. Feeling hopeless due to past experiences of being ignored, Jania ends up taking the bank hostage. Taylor, a girl among the hostages, steps in to negotiate with Jania.
