In order to fund her sister's medical treatment, engineer-geologist Abby Brennan accepts a job at a secluded uranium mine. However, her plans are derailed when a helicopter crash leaves her stranded in the wilderness with only a mysterious meteorite for company. With no one else around, Abby relies on a man named John who contacts her through a radio and promises to rescue her.
