On her deathbed, Edwin's sister asks him to find the son she had abandoned many years ago. Edwin's quest takes him to Duri, Jakarta, where he becomes a deputy teacher at a middle school for troubled youth. In order to locate his nephew, Edwin must face the toughest students in the school. However, when he finally finds the boy, a riot breaks out in the city, leaving Edwin trapped in the school with the violent children out for revenge.
