Every year, a competition known as the "Long Walk" takes place in the countryside, with one hundred youths taking part. Participants must maintain a pace of more than three miles per hour, and are disqualified after three infractions. The grand prize includes a substantial cash reward and the granting of all their desires for the remainder of their lives.
