A "Special Corps" has been created under the New York City Police Department, whose employees conduct investigations of crimes committed on sexual grounds, deal with cases related to violation of sexual integrity and violence against minors. Such crimes are among the most violent and the police cannot remain cold-blooded and impartial during investigations.
