Matt is a strong-willed and self-reliant man who is a widower and enjoys restoring cars. His challenging nature led to a strain in his relationship with his daughter Riley in the past. Despite this, many years later, Riley is compelled to move back in with her father along with her children. They must now not only coexist under one roof but also work on repairing their relationships and healing old wounds, much like restoring a valuable classic car.
