Alex Dempsey, a police officer in the quaint town of Toll Pines, encounters two students from the nearby troubled teen school who are seeking to run away. As he looks into a string of strange occurrences, Alex starts to believe that the enigmatic headmistress of the school, Evelyn, may be involved in all of them.
